In the station in the city a British soldier stood,
Talking to the people there if the people would.
Some just stared in hatred and others turned in pain,
And the lonely British soldier wished he was back home again.

"Come join the British army!" Said the posters in his town,
"See the world and have your fun, come serve before the crown."
The jobs were hard to come by and he could not face the dole,
So he took his country's shilling and enlisted on the roll.

But there was no fear of fighting; the Empire long was lost,
Just ten years in the army, getting paid for being bossed.
Then leave a man experienced, a man who's made the grade,
A medal and a pension, some memories and a trade.

Then came the call to Ireland as the call had come before,
Another bloody chapter in an endless civil war.
The priests they stood on both sides, the priests they stood behind,
Another fight in Jesus' name, the blind against the blind.

The soldier stood between them, between the whistling stones,
And then the broken bottles that led to broken bones.
The petrol bombs that burned his hands, the nails that pierced his skin,
And wished that he had stayed at home surrounded by his kin.

The station filled with people, the soldier soon was bored,
But better in the station than where the people warred.
The room filled up with mothers, with daughters and with sons,
Who stared with itchy fingers at the soldier and his guns.

A yell of fear, a screech of brakes, a shattering of glass,
The window of the station broke to let the package pass.
A scream came from the mothers as they ran towards the door,
Dragging children crying from the bomb upon the floor.

The soldier stood, he could not move, his gun he could not use,
He knew the bomb had seconds and not minutes on the fuse.
He could not run to pick it up and throw it in the street,
There were far too many people there, too many running feet.

"Take cover!" Yelled the soldier, "take cover for your lives!"
And the Irishmen threw down their young and stood before their wives.
They turned towards the soldier, their eyes alive with fear,
"For God's sake, save our children, or they'll end their short lives here."

The soldier moved towards the bomb, his stomach like a stone,
Why was this his battle, God, why was he alone?
He laid down on the package and he murmured one farewell,
To those at home in England, to those he loved so well.

He saw the sights of Summer, felt the wind upon his brow,
The young girls in the city parks, how precious were they now?
The soaring of the swallow, the beauty of the swan,
The music of the turning earth, so soon would it be gone.

A muffled soft explosion and the room began to quake.
The soldier blown across the floor, his blood a crimson lake.
They never heard him cry or shout, they never heard him moan,
And they turned their children's faces from the blood and from the bone.

The crowd outside soon gathered and the ambulances came,
To carry off the body of a pawn lost to the game.
And the crowd they clapped and jeered, and they sang their rebel songs.
"One soldier less to interfere where he did not belong."

But will the children growing up learn at their mother's knee,
The story of the soldier who bought their liberty?
Who used his youthful body as the means towards the end,
Who gave his life to those who called him murderer not friend.

Everybody wanna sound like, sound like
Sound like Bone, Bone, Bone
Everybody wanna rap like, rap like
Rap like Bone, Bone, Bone

As we continue to pick up the pieces
They follow us Kings 'til the sundown
Deadly issues of telekinesis
Better show love or lay down

Everybody wanna sound like, sound like
Sound like Bone, Bone, Bone
Everybody wanna rap like, rap like
Rap like Bone, Bone, Bone

As we continue to pick up the pieces
They follow us Kings 'til the sundown
Deadly issues of telekinesis

Hold down, welcome to the showdown
I think it's 'bout time little Layzie let 'em know now
Take it to the streets and let the pump, pump go pow
Take my style, let me show you how I go wild

Now you playin' with a fully grown man
With a fully blown plan, with a fully loaded clip
I'ma go up in your shit
I don't play with little kids, I spank that ass
Boy, you know who we is

My homies the greatest, I roll with the best, see?
Who in the fuck wanna test these niggas
From the S-C-T, C-L-E? We got heat
Y'all know what happened to the thief
When the king catch him stealin'
Got his hands in the cookie jar

Off with his hand, fuck it, off with his head
Make him stand front and center
Let me see what the rookie got?
Bet a nigga ain't got nothin', they bluffin'

Tryin' to come up on somethin', bubblin'
I'ma say this really, really, really loud
Y'all wanna rumble, I'll bust them, rush them
Trust him, never, on a whole 'nother level

If God The Creator, then y'all niggas' devils
The fight won't end 'til the war get settled
And Bone gonna win 'cause them Bone niggas' rebels
Playa, yeah, nigga

Everybody wanna sound like, sound like
Sound like Bone, Bone, Bone
Everybody wanna rap like, rap like
Rap like Bone, Bone, Bone

As we continue to pick up the pieces
They follow us Kings 'til the sundown
Deadly issues of telekinesis
Better show love or lay down

Everybody wanna sound like, sound like
Sound like Bone, Bone, Bone
Everybody wanna rap like, rap like
Rap like Bone, Bone, Bone

As we continue to pick up the pieces
They follow us Kings 'til the sundown
Deadly issues of telekinesis
Better show love or lay down

They don't wanna see me shine
Everybody wanna sound like Bone though
Come back in the Bone zone
But you just beginnin' with the daddy you don't know

They call me 'The Granddad', granddaddy of the Bone flow
Well, little lazy rappers, obviously we never figured
This would be the lick and we'd be next to shine
And we got everybody screamin' and singin'
But these out of shape suckas need exercise

So I'ma get up in their mental
I'ma work 'em out over the instrumental
Give 'em a criminal rhythm, the lyrical nympho
Wanna see the wicked? Better know what you're in for
First, the fan side could be forgiven, you didn't know

Second time, I got up in 'em like here we go
No matter what, they sayin' we still the most realest
That ever did it, feel me flow
And everybody want a little bit against

A little Krayzie, Layzie, Bizzy, Wish, and Flesh
A little taste so they can test
And make 'em see how we the best
And I'll be realer than the rest don't flex
'Cause the pump gonna get 'em

I'm like a bullet to the chest, suffer a cardiac arrest
That's so hard and I can still get their heart and leave 'em dead
And give 'em all they can get
Send them suckas to the lyric cemetery or the rap hospital
Never no competition

Everybody wanna sound like, sound like
Sound like Bone, Bone, Bone
Everybody wanna rap like, rap like
Rap like Bone, Bone, Bone

As we continue to pick up the pieces
They follow us Kings 'til the sundown
Deadly issues of telekinesis
Better show love or lay down

Everybody wanna sound like, sound like
Sound like Bone, Bone, Bone
Everybody wanna rap like, rap like
Rap like Bone, Bone, Bone

As we continue to pick up the pieces
They follow us Kings 'til the sundown
Deadly issues of telekinesis
Better show love or lay down

Come on, now let me take you back to The Land
You know where the heart of it all
In 1993 when we was up out the scene
The fellas with hell of a harmony with the flow
Hooked up with Eazy-E and shook up the industry
And y'all just in time to get another phase

This certainly is somethin' that you wouldn't wanna miss
The drama when it hit the fan, we got 'em trippin' off the gift
And split a wig up with a pretty sick twist
The Ruger like a surgeon and it's on
Exactly what I cut you with is sharper than a scalpel

Actually, it's too many Bone Thug clones
And they all malpractice, arrested and send 'em to the gallows
My trues brought a style that's unfound
And you can feel it naturally but we ain't no magicians
Really ain't no thing to make a fraud disappear

Steady givin' what they love to hear, make 'em listen up close
Everybody know we got the dough
We choppin' nothin' but missiles, still the nigga who the greatest
Y'all lost, can't even afford the cost, this is authentic
And nothin' that's dealin' with them world wide bosses

We got the sauce, baby, we got the juice
We keep 'em in a frenzy fiendin' for more
On the Thug Line with F.B.G., 7th Sign
And Mo' Thug once again we about to blow
We about to blow, set it off, explode, set it off, explode

Everybody wanna sound like, sound like
Sound like Bone, Bone, Bone
Everybody wanna rap like, rap like
Rap like Bone, Bone, Bone

As we continue to pick up the pieces
They follow us Kings 'til the sundown
Deadly issues of telekinesis
Better show love or lay down

Everybody wanna sound like, sound like
Sound like Bone, Bone, Bone
Everybody wanna rap like, rap like
Rap like Bone, Bone, Bone

As we continue to pick up the pieces
They follow us Kings 'til the sundown
Deadly issues of telekinesis
Better show love or lay down

I'ma treat it like a race and I gotta win it
Ahead of you bums with the Bone flow
Thug invented, haters wanna wonder
Why them thug niggas still gettin' in

Nothin' changed the game like we did so we here, still with it
Gotta tell the truth, we changed things
Bringin' somethin' new that's everlasting, I'ma keep it real
It's next to nothin', doin' the same thing 'cause less creating

Flow just borin', the spit just corny
What happened to old bitin' 'self? Writin' battles done face to face
I miss those days, these days, ghost writers
Fake artists with nothin' to say

I'ma give it, wish due my street dues
Just stay cool. I know I got you
When I need to pop you'll let loose
And you don't wanna see a thugsta hit with a Grey Goose

Or we could buy the bar, just stay cool and we good
Recognize we thug, could of been all hood
The flow's all love, thugs could of been all hood
Pick up on it, never fully get it, this Bone flow
Smilin', hatin' but you'll see me on the low

In the game with the number one
Straight from the Cleveland slums
Straight off the block, never hustle to the floor though
Kickin' 'em down how them Bone Thugs came through
Yeah, yeah, we took it to another level, level, level, yeah

Everybody wanna sound like, sound like
Sound like Bone, Bone, Bone
Everybody wanna rap like, rap like
Rap like Bone, Bone, Bone

As we continue to pick up the pieces
They follow us Kings 'til the sundown
Deadly issues of telekinesis
Better show love or lay down

Everybody wanna sound like, sound like
Sound like Bone, Bone, Bone
Everybody wanna rap like, rap like
Rap like Bone, Bone, Bone

As we continue to pick up the pieces
They follow us Kings 'til the sundown
Deadly issues of telekinesis
Better show love or lay down

As soon as I'm receivin' the call, now give me the ball
I run with the dogs, then keep the b'all
Now meet me at the mall, you can check on every shelf on the wall
They makin' money off the Bone Thugs equipped with a saw

With a knife in my back, everybody rappin' fast
But the harmony ain't in it and now that's too much to pass
Now that's too much to ask when you pick up a crash course style
To change up, come on

My trigger finger's itchy but my carpel tunnel was [unverified] was written
And rippin' problems like water flowin' in humbles
I'm workin' with seven shovels, the grave diggers and others
Nobody understand The Man, clones, now shut up

I'm quicker than a boogey wicked monster, never just like the movie
We know when we pray to God [unverified]
We get the hustle on in the spring, fall, in summers
And the winter months, we gonna praise Jesus

Don't even represent us, like we ain't said nothin'
Present the flow then grown know where we come from
Sun come shine in, Equinox rhymin', Layzie perfect timin'
Grab my gun

Much love to my nigga young Hova, Twista
Bun B, Pimp C, A.C. Killer
Get your money, get your paper
Elevate like my nigga DMX
Here's a prayer, God bless playa

Everybody wanna sound like, sound like
Sound like Bone, Bone, Bone
Everybody wanna rap like, rap like
Rap like Bone, Bone, Bone

As we continue to pick up the pieces
They follow us Kings 'til the sundown
Deadly issues of telekinesis
Better show love or lay down

Everybody wanna sound like, sound like
Sound like Bone, Bone, Bone
Everybody wanna rap like, rap like
Rap like Bone, Bone, Bone

As we continue to pick up the pieces
They follow us Kings 'til the sundown
Deadly issues of telekinesis
Better show love or lay down

[Talking:]
Yeah, This Dedicated To Canada Man
The Whole Up North
A Lot Of People Don't Realize How Cold It Gets During The Winter
But Listen...

[Verse 1:]
I Met This New Girl Late June Or Early July
I Called Her A Bunch Of Times But She Barely Replied
Now It's December, I'm Driving, And She's Like Where's My Hi?
I Swear, That I Never Called You Cause I Really Get Shy
See That Was A Segue, I Believe The Matter
Is What Happens After The Seaon Where The Leaves Just Scatter
Where The Timb Laces Get Tighter And Parka Hoods Flip Up
Drugs Dealers Standin And They Parka Hoods Slip Up
Where Girls Become Exes From Summer's Caught Ho'in
The Winter Cars Come Out, The Summer Cars Go In
And Some Places Is Breezy, And Some It Start Snow-Ing
And If You Planning Family Vacations You Better Know When
But Some Mothers Scared To Send They Daughters Out The City
Instead She Get A Sweater That She Bought Her Out Of Pity
Cause Mom Stays Up Late, She Seen Them Videos
Where Cancun College Students Pouring Water On Their Titties!

[Talking: Over Chorus]
Yeah Man, It's A Funny Thing Going Through The Winter Up Here Man
A Lot Of Girls Y'know, Wanna Get Close. You Might Think They The One
But Just Wait, Nah Mean, Take It Slow

[Verse 2:]
Forget To Mention, This Girl That Never Gets To The Beach
She Lives Just West Of My Street, And So We Destined To Meet
Since I'm Driving, I Ask Her How To Get The Suite
She Doesn't Answer, Opens The Door And Just Gets In The Seat
She Throws Her Bag In The Back, And Starts Adjusting The Heat
She's Bold But I Roll With It, I'm Impressed Cause She's Sweet
Then She Says "I Heard Your Song And I'm Obsessed With The Beat,
I Mean, The Lyrics Are Good, But I'm Obsessed With The Beat
I Love It When Voyce Sings And The Chorus Is Good,
There's A Couple Things In The Song That I Suggest You Repeat"
Off This I'm Kinda Takin It Back For A Second,
I Get Her Number She Tells Me To Call Her After This Session
And So I Do, And It's Kind Of Awkward, The Surface Hard To Scratch
Until We End Up Sexin And Now My Heart Attached
I'm Thinkin Off I Should've Been More Southern
And Realizing All That She Wanted Was That Indoor Lovin And Ho!

[Talking: Over Chorus]
Yeah, Uh, I Told Ya'll I Had A Story For You Right
Uh, Ya Man, It's What It Is

[Verse 3:]
And Now, I'm Proud To Have Her Like Montreal To The Frizzench
She Love To Play Hurt Like Carter Did On The Bizzench
But, My Boy Say I'm Actin Different, Because I Lay Downtown
And I Still I Rush To Pick Her Up From Work And Fizzench
She Tellin Everyone Imma Hold Here Down
Tell Everyone I'm The Prince Up In This Cold Clear Town
And Stupid Me I Just Listen To Her,
Instead Of Wondering If This Is Really Gon' Last Me The Whole Year Round
But Then Spring Shows Up, And It's Dallas In This Bitch
The Weather Starts To Resemble The Holidays She Missed
When We Were Together It Seeming Like Way Back When
Ball Players Hop On The Plane And Make It Way Back In
See She Used To Play Piana, And Now She Never Wait For Santa
Instead Of Saving For Marriage, She Saving For Carrabanna
And It's A Shame, She Had Me Convinced That She Could've Been A Dime
I Guess, I Lost Another One To The Wintertime

[Voice + (Drake):]
I Miss You, Most Of Aaaallll, Myy Daarling [Beat Fades Out]
(Gimme A Second To Gather My Toughts)
[Fades Back In] Strolling In The Park (Ho!)
And Watching Winter Turn To Spriing (Such A Beautiful Day Man)
(Yeah Man, You Know We Had To Switch It On 'em Right?)
Strolling In The Park, And Watching Winter Turn To Spriing
(I'm Still Standing On Two Feet, Even After This Tragic Loss)
(Man, But I Got Something To Else To Tell Ya Baby)

[Rap:]
I Remember Them Encore Pms, Breakfast And The Wake Up
Now Drake's Committed We Waiting On The Breakup
So We Can Get Back To Them Cognac Nights
With Dress Codes And Light Skinned Girls That Won't Act Right
And I Laugh Cause My Previous Lifestyle Was Quite Wild
The Winter Came And Blew His Cold Air Through
Back Then Light Sweaters And A Couple Drinks Might Get Her,
By The End Of The Week I Would Know That Crew
And We'd Assembled A Trio, A Whole New Scene
With Three Ladies In The Shot We Never Broke Routine
At The End Of Every Cut When The Cameras Are Rollin
We Had Ladie's Hearts Always Gettin Damaged And Stolen
But This Summer Is Different It's A Two Man Operation
Granted The Fact That We One Man Short
Got Love For Him He Can Watch This New Man Stop A Nation
Cause Handin' Them Crack Is A One Man Sport
Instead Of Dress-Up, I Walk In Sweat Pants And Chomp Clinkin'
I Find A Girl We Step Dance And Calm Drinkin'
The Face, The Breast, The Bras, The Toes
I'm Still Solo And A Long Night Draws To A Close
Cause It's A Fact, If She Come To The Crib And I Get Some Ass Inside
We'll Never Talk Again, Scary And True
That Song Special I Recorded With Voyce Well It's Like A Classified
It's What I'm Lookin For To Carry Me Through
Yet I Can't Seem To Find A Heavy Girl That Possesses It
Only Wants A Friendship Causing Me To Forget The Shit
And When They Talk About They Past And Lovers
And You Get Mad At The Though Of It Giving Ass To Others
Yet You Find Peace With Yourself, Now Least There's Some Room To Ride
There's Also Room For Improvement As Soon As June Arrive

[Intro: Drake talking]

Mr. Big Dreams no tolerant
Cut you at the house of ? since
Get bored quickly
He stay blowed
So the p-a-trón 'bout to get poured quickly
Ex girl strippin, I can't stop her
New girl trippin but I can't drop her
Cuz I need somethin to balance out the fact
That it's hard to find a woman when you're talented and black
When you hollerin at labels
And they silencing you back
Cuz you fail to thoroughly discuss a violence on ya track
Well, gunshots for the young yacht owner
Seen as everybody else, seen as one top loner
First place is often the worst place
But fuck it I love it here I call it my birthplace
Whenever I walk in they makin the worst face
Surrounded by Phillipinos I think is the worst case
? green diamonds I call it the earth days
I get in ya cake I tell u how your dessert taste
I get a dessert plate, yall eat pedigree as a meal
I been Urkel for some years
It's better being Jaleel
Though I rock, lean, snap
It's better bein as real
It's better drivin a car with the letter B in the wheel
Seat back, light sayin Tank on E
I got the drank on me
You can bank on me
To be the one and only nigga dat you ain' gon see
In the club wit da models spillin drinks on me
Nawh, gimme 20 and a tank on three
I'm in the Range bumpin Keyshia Cole singin off-key like (wuhhh)
And I'ma spare yall, why you wanna judge me?
I don't neva compare yall
The city is mine
I know it cuz I'm there yall
It ain't even started I'm really tryna prepare yall
Drake '07, second quarter I'm droppin
Do it without a label, man I'm committed and poppin
Take ova da summer, tour to tour hoppin
I'ma meet a lot a women, I'ma do a lot of shoppin
Really no other option
Spend a lot a money just to make it back
Anybody I diss in a song I don't take it back
Same rappers that's all in your face sayin Drake is whack
But checkin my availability just to make a track
Uh, I promise momma, I'ma do it cuz I kno I put you through it
I know I put you through it baby
And I just want you to sit around wit ya friends at a dinner table
And say my baby's famous and i knew it
And it wasn't nuttin to it
I've drew ? til da pen run out of fluid

[Outro: Drake talking]

Okay, it's Childish Gambino, homegirl drop it like the NASDAQ
Move white girls like there's coke up my ass crack
Move black girls 'cause man fuck it, I'll do either
I love pussy, I love bitches, dude, I should be runnin' PETA

In Adidas, with some short shorts, B-O-O all over me
My green is where it's supposed to be, your green is in my grocery
This Asian dude, I stole his girl, and now he got that Kogi beef
My dick is like an accent mark, it's all about the over Es

Hot like a parked car
I sound weird like nigga with hard R
Fly like the logo on my cousin's 440
Eatin' Oreos like these white girls that blow me

Vodka for my ladies, whiskey for a grown man
Hangin' in the islands, lookin' for Earl like ToeJam
I made the beat retarded, so I'm callin' it a slow jam
Butcher and I know it, man, kill beef, go ham

These rappers are afraid of him
'Cause I'm a beast, bitch, GIR, Invader Zim
Gambino is a call girl, fuck you, pay me
Brand new whip for these niggas like slavery

Told me I was awful and that shit did not phase me
Tell me how I suck again, my memory is hazy
"You're my favorite rapper now" Yeah, dude, I better be
Or you can fuckin' kiss my ass, Human Centipede

You wanna see my girl? I ain't that dumb
You wanna see my girl? Check Maxim
Man, why does every black actor gotta rap some?
I don't know, all I know is I'm the best one

[Hook]
It's a bonfire, turn the lights out
I'm burnin' everything you muthafuckas talk about

It's a bonfire, turn the lights out
I'm burnin' everything you muthafuckas talk about

[Verse 2]
You know these rapper dudes talk shit, start killin'
Fuck that, got goons like an archvillain
I'm from the south, ain't got no accent, don't know why
So this rap is child's play, I do my name like Princess Di
Yeah, they say they want the realness, rap about my real life
Told me I should just quit: "first of all, you talk white!
Second off, you talk like you haven't given up yet"
Rap's stepfather, yeah you hate me but you will respect
I put in work, ask Ludwig
Put my soul on the track like shoes did
Played this for my cousin, now he can't even think straight
Black and white music? Now nigga that's a mixtape
Shout out to my blerds, they represent the realness
Shout out to Gambino Girls, my dick is in the building
I know you hate me cause your little cousin play me out
I like black girls who nerdy but when they dance they be saying 'Owwww"
I'm sorry for who followed me
Chillin' with a Filipina, at your local Jollibee
Yeah, I'm in her ass like sodomy
So if you see my hand under the table, don't bother me
I don't talk soft, that's that other guy
I'm screamin' "What the fuck is up?" like I ain't seen the sky
The shit I'm doin' this year? Insanity
Made the beat then murdered it, Casey Anthony
These rappers won't know what to do
Cause all I did was act me like a Looney Tune
And I'll give you all of me until there's nothing left
I swear this summer will be summer Camp, bitch

On a hot summer's night
In the year of '75
Jimmy Doyle took his child bride
Amanda, for a drive
She was only seventeen
He just lived to see her smile
Their commitment to each other
Burned like a forest fire

Otis on the radio singing "Stand By Me"
As a trooper pulled them over
And said Jimmy where you been
Someone matching your description
Has just robbed the liquor store
Amanda said "He's been with me"
But they weren't listening anymore

Down at Precinct Number Five
They questioned Jimmy through the night
The sheriff said "He's gotta stand trial"
Armed robbery is the charge
Amanda said "This cannot be"
Gonna stay right here until you set him free

And I love him
Here to eternity
Forever
Unto eternity
Oh God gave me something
I must hold on to
Gonna hold on him
No matter what you do

The old courthouse was crowded
As the judge reviewed the case
In a year of re-election
He was desperate to impress
Innocent or guilty
He saw an opportunity
To send Jimmy down for life
To the Penitentiary

Disbelief and anger
As they dragged him away
In a cell below the courthouse
They beat him like a slave
But his use of martial arts
Struck a blow for liberty
Felled a guard with a fist of iron
And killed him instantly

All the press surrounded Amanda
Coming down the courthouse steps
Pleading for her young man's life
And in a moment seen by millions
She bowed her head and cried
Show my man some mercy
He's the father of my child

I love him
Here to eternity
Forever
Unto eternity
Oh God gave me something
I must hold on to
Gonna hold on him
No matter what you do
I love him
Here to eternity

Jimmy Doyle appeared again
In a second public trail
For the murder of a prison guard
They sentenced him to die
But Amanda with her long red hair
Made one last plea
As the court fell into silence
She cried out desperately

This man of mine is innocent
As one day I shall prove
It's an open case of self defense
All this circumstantial evidence
You place before your court
Has robbed me of my husband
Forget I will not

I love him
Here to eternity
Forever
Unto eternity
Oh goodbye my Jimmy
'Til we meet again
In a better world than this
I swear I'll clear your name
'Cos I love you
Here to eternity
